DID YOU SEE THAT: VICK, TO VS MCNABB, MEMPHIS TIGERS

IN MY OPINION. Im sure everyone watched the first quarter of the EAGLES vs the REDSKINS game on monday night (very entertaining), kudos to Michael Vick he effortlessly demolished the redskin defense and IN MY OPINION is a front-runner for the MVP. Who else would you consider for the award, Peyton Manning? Roddy White's not a bad pick, would you consider Peyton Hillis??? not. But you never know its only halfway through the season and if Vick plays like this every game, hand him the trophy. He is definitely the #1 fantasy football pick next year, wish I had him on my team but im satisfied I got Desean Jackson catching his passes. The Eagles play the Giants this week, a tough defense that will have to play smart in order to win. Quite frankly when you have D.Jackson, Maclin, and Mccoy it just makes Vick's job that much easier. Im not ready to say the Eagles are the best but they are dangerous. It just amazes me how the plays are called, first play 88 yards for a TD, but this is a coaches league, playcalling is everything just ask Wade Phillips week 1. Speaking of which, the new coach of the Cowboys, Mr. Garret, wasn't he calling the offensive plays? And then all of a sudden since he's in charge he's changing everything. He now decides to run the ball, but with Wade it was pass pass pass, odd don't you think? The playcalling for the Eagles was on the money and Vick delivered. I wonder what his contract will be after this year, 5 years 100 million? Mcnabb got 78 and you saw what happened.

Speaking of Mcnabb after he was benched for no reason basically, he received a 5 year 78 milly dollar deal monday night. When I first heard about it my response was, how old is Mcnabb? he'll be 38, 39 by the time his contract is up. I don't think he will last that long in Washington and be happy. He needs a real receiver, he doesn't have any weapons outside of Santana Moss who at one point was very very good without Mcnabb. His benching was avoidable, Im sure coach Shanahan would like to take that back, he started this distraction. But back to the subject, Terrel Owens tweated, "how can you justified paying him 78 mill after a performance like that." I can answer that, ITS THE REDSKINS they do it every year. How do you justify paying Albert Haynesworth 100 million, what has he done this year. I liked Mcnabbs response to TO on his radio show, basically saying, "the bengals are 2-7 and Carson Palmer makes more than I do, worry about your own problems." I know TO is having an above average year but the Redskins are better than the Bengals, their records say so. Sad to say with all his talent TO will probably never make it to the superbowl, or even the playoffs. Afterall he's played for the Eagles (Mcnabb), Cowboys (Romo), Bengals (Palmer) all considered superbowl contending teams in their prospective years. Those are some good QB's, how do you justify messing all that up TO?
MEMPHIS TIGER BASKETBALL its the best time of the year! The tigers ranked 19th right now have great potential. I like coach Josh Pastner approach with this team, its not all about basketball its about getting your education and doing things the right way. Im disappointed the Kendrick was released but you have to trust the coach. You have got to trust that its the right thing, afterall it is C-USA. I wish Josh put the redshirt on Kendrick instead of Hippolte Tsafack because we need better rebounding. The Tigers made it to the championship game in 08 because of defense and rebounding, but missed freebies. The Tigers got the free throws, the defense, but rebounding must improve. The Tigers beating Miami was a great game, building confidence. As always there are haters, I've read comments saying the Tigers are overrated, not a top 25 team, C-USA is weak, ect... We hear it every year and the Memphis finds a way to win. Im not concerned about the ranking I just hope they win every game. This team is special because of its local players Joe Jackson, Crawford, Black, Barham and now Adonis Thomas for next year. Josh has helped put Memphis Highschool Basketball on the map with his recruiting. Hopefully Will Barton gets 100% and his brother Antonio got skills, very good defender. With Carmouche, Witherspoon, and Coleman leading, the Tigers are going to turn heads. GO TIGERS!!!
